A St. Johns County sheriff's deputy noticed something was "impeding traffic" along the Nocatee Parkway in Jacksonville. Turns out it was a gopher tortoise.
Deputy L. Fontenot said "it failed to clear the roadway when ordered to do so" and just kept walking along the parkway. The tortiose was not ticketed however and given a verbal warning regarding his "risky behavior." LOL!
