12/3: Get Ready for the Annual Reverse Christmas Parade! All across Brevard. Will make a stop in Melbourne with Melbourne Police Department at 5:00 PM. Starting at Helen Blazes and heading west. It’s been 11 years since the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office created the Reverse Christmas Parade to ensure every child in Brevard County has a Merry Christmas. As the parade travels through each city, starting in Titusville and moving south throughout the day, residents and business owners line the route with toys, hot chocolate, snacks, and holiday cheer. This is your chance to meet local law enforcement and celebrate the season together! Bring an unwrapped Christmas gift for a child to help make this event a great success.
12/5-12/5: Meet the Grinch! Hosted by the Melbourne Police Department Friday, December 5 — 4 PM to 7 PM. Saturday, December 6 — 10 AM to 2 PM inside Melbourne Square Mall at Melbourne Police Community Relations Center. This FREE family event is now in its 6th year! Enjoy Raffles, Treats, Crafts and of course… meeting the Grinch!
12/5: Historic Cocoa Village Mainstreet Moonlight Music on the Promenade. 6pm – 9pm. Cocoa Riverfront Park.
12/5: Palm Bay Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on at 6:30 PM at Palm Bay City Hall. Enjoy performances by the Odyssey Charter School Band, Palm Bay Elementary Little Pirates, Port Malabar Elementary, and the Heritage High School Show Choir. Refreshments will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting United Way of Brevard. Bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and get a free light-up Christmas Tree wand. After the tree lighting ceremony, stick around for pictures with Santa and crafts inside city hall.
12/6: Brevard Parks & Rec Merritt Island Holiday Parade. 10am. Mindy from Lite Rock 99.3 will emcee the parade. Begins at Merritt Island High School ends and Edgewood Jr/Sr High School.
12/6: Free Pet Photos with Santa at Subaru of Melbourne on 1-92 from 11am-3pm. Also, a pet adoption event with the Brevard Humane Society and Lite Rock 99.3.
12/6: The City of Palm Bay Holiday Light Parade presented by Thrifty Specialty Produce & Meats and Cocina Café will be held at 6 PM. The 3-mile parade will leave the Eastern Florida State College campus and head north on San Filippo Drive. It will then move west on Malabar Road and end at Minton Road, in front of City Hall. Dozens of brightly lit floats, high school marching bands, cheer squads, motorized vehicles, and more. The parade is sponsored by Gary Yeomans Ford Palm Bay.
12/6: Christmas Market in downtown Melbourne at Sendala's from 10-7 for raffles, vendors, and more! Help fill the giant stocking with unwrapped gifts for the families staying at the emergency shelter at Serene Harbor and served by their outreach programs.
12/6-12/7: Historic Cocoa Village Mainstreet Art & Craft Holiday Bazaar. 10am – 4pm. Downtown Cocoa Village.
12/10: Photos with Santa. 4pm – 6pm. Cocoa City Hall, 65 Stone St. Take a photo with your local Santa and his helpers when you bring $5 cash donation or canned goods to support the Sharing Center of Central Brevard. Best part is that City of Cocoa elected officials are dressing the part!
12/11-12/13 and 12/18-12/20: BCSO Junny's Heavenly Light Fest on Camp Rd in Cocoa. 6:30pm-9:30pm. $10 per car. In partnership with Lite Rock 99.3, KISS 95.1 and WMMB.
12/12: WALK-THRU Night with Lite Rock 99.3 at BCSO Junny's Heavenly Light Fest on Camp Rd in Cocoa. 6:30pm-9:30pm. $2 per person. In partnership with Lite Rock 99.3, KISS 95.1 and WMMB.
12/12: City of Cocoa Tree Lighting & Movie in the Park AND Historic Cocoa Village Boat Parade. 5pm – Performance by Classical Movement Creative then gather for the tree lighting. 6pm – Boat Parade. 7:30pm – Movie: Holiday Celebration with Mickey & Friends. Cocoa Riverfront Park.
12/13: Brevard Parks & Rec Cocoa/Rockledge Holiday Parade emceed by Mindy from Lite Rock 99.3 at 10am. Begins at Rockledge High School and ends in Cocoa Village.
12/13: Walk or run with your favorite holiday attire! Trinity Fitness Merritt Island - in partnership with CAMI is hosting an inaugural Holiday Illumination 5k at Veterans Memorial Park at 8am. Then from 3pm-7pm it's a free family friendly holiday celebration including live performances, Christmas market, food trucks, gingerbread house competition, bounce houses, axe throwing, face painting, community tree lighting and much more!
12/13: Historic Cocoa Village Mainstreet Hot Cocoa Crawl (For National Hot Cocoa Day). 2pm – 6pm. Downtown Cocoa Village.
12/13: City of Cocoa Holiday Festival. 11am – 3pm. Cocoa Riverfront Park.
12/19: Historic Cocoa Village Mainstreet Annual Eva Marlow Holiday Bike Parade 5pm. Downtown Cocoa Village.
12/19: 4th Friday Starry Nights. Where: 2885 Champion Way, West Melbourne. 4pm-8pm. Cost: Free to the Public. Meet talented local artisans and explore handcrafted one-of-a-kind gifts. Delicious bites from local food trucks to keep you fueled and happy! Bounce house and games for the kiddos! Enjoy live music while you browse and mingle.
12/20: Come out for the City of Palm Bay's 17th Annual Family Christmas Extravaganza, the biggest FREE city-wide Christmas party on the Space Coast from 10 AM to 3 PM at Fred Poppe Regional Park in Palm Bay. Leave your wallet at home and enjoy a full day of excitement with delicious food, live entertainment, thrilling games, giveaways, pony rides, inflatables, face painting, rock walls, exhibits, special guests, and so much more.
