Two Martin County men face charges after video surfaced on social media showing them forcing beer down the throat of an alligator.
27-year old Timothy Kepke of Hobe Sound and 22-year old Noah Osbourne of Stuart are charged with unlawfully taking a gator and animal cruelty.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says the young gator was caught in Palm City back in August.
Kepke says Osborne captured the alligator and tried to get the reptile to bite his arm. After that, came the beer.
Both men say they released the animal after the incident.
They were questioned not long after the video was made and arrested last week.
