Daytona Beach Considering Biketoberfest Plans.

Daytona Beach city commissioners are discussing if and how they can plan on holding Biketoberfest this year amid the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.

Many are concerned they cannot balance the public health safety concerns against bringing an estimated 125,000 visitors into the area for the annual event.

However local business owners are concerned that canceling another major tourist event would be devastating to the economy.

Officials at the Daytona Beach Convention and Visitor Bureau that organizes permitting for Biketoberfest, have not decided on when they will present a plan on how to safely hold the event.
