BTS Announce 'Break The Silence' Concert Film: Details

BTS is coming (back) to a theater near you!

On Thursday (August 6), the South Korean boy band announced their new concert film, Break the Silence: The Movie, will be premiering worldwide, via Trafalgar Releasing, for limited screenings beginning September 10. The film, which follows bandmates Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook during last year’s “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” world tour, will have its official premiere in theaters across the United States starting September 24, with tickets to go on sale on August 13.

Of course, these dates are contingent on local theater reopening schedules due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Break the Silence, directed by Park Jun-soo, will give BTS fans behind-the-scenes access to the group’s globe-trotting jaunt, which saw them perform at venues across the United States, Asia, South America, and Europe.

As stated in a press release, the movie promises to present “another side of BTS,” including each member sharing “personal stories they have never voiced before.”

BTS’ upcoming film endeavor is the sequel to 2019’s Bring the Soul: The Movie, which will return to theaters from August 28-30 and include an exclusive preview of Break the Silence. (Tickets for the re-run will go on sale starting August 18.) For more information and details, visit the band’s movie website here.

BTS is performing during the star-studded 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which is celebrating 10 years. Fans can tune in to watch the festival live on The CW App and CWTV.com on September 18 and 19 at 9pm ET/6pm PT, and relive all of the epic performances during a two-night Festival highlights special on September 27 and 28 from 8-10pm ET/PT. The iHeartRadio Music Festival will also be broadcast on iHeartMedia stations nationwide, as well as on the iHeartRadio app.
