Governor Lowers Minimum Vaccine Age in Florida

Good news for younger seniors waiting to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Governor Ron DeSantis is in Tallahassee today announcing all state drive-thru vaccination sites as well as all pods and pharmacies will expand to include people ages 60 to 64. The state has been offering the shots to people 65-and-older they became available in December, along with first responders. Last week, Florida began offering the shots to law enforcement, firefighters 50-and-older as well as all teachers and school staff.
