The fight over Florida's congressional districts is heating up.
Governor Ron DeSantis has submitted his proposed map for the state's redistricting process.
Under the proposal 20 Republican-leaning districts and eight Democrat-leaning districts would be created.
The current congressional makeup is 16 Republicans and 11 Democrats.
DeSantis says his legal office has been working with state house and Senate leaders on the map.
State House and Senate leaders say they plan to vote on the Governor's map during next week's special session.
