TSA No Longer Enforcing Mask Mandates After Court Ruling

A federal judge in Tampa has put an end to the public transit mask mandate. Put simply, it means masks are no longer required on planes, trains, or buses. At Tampa International Airport and elsewhere, the TSA is taking down the signs that told passengers masks were required. While some people were seen wearing a mask at the airport this morning, others were not. "I don't think we necessarily need them any more because of the all the vaccinations and shots and everything," one passenger told News Channel 8. "We're two years in," another said. "if you want to wear a mask, wear a mask. But understand that it's a personal choice."

"The Biden administration will now have to decide if it's going to abide by the ruling, or defy it. At the moment, the ruling is the law of the land," said Miami attorney Brant Hardaway," who filed the original suit on behalf of the Health Freedom Defense Fund.

Travelers are still *encouraged* to wear a mask, but it is now a personal choice.
