The Tampa Bay Lightning (10-7-2) defeated the New Jersey Devils (13-5-1) 5-1 on Tuesday night at Benchmark International Arena. The Lightning have now won nine of their past twelve games.
Jake Guentzel had a hat trick in the win, while Darren Raddysh had three points thanks to a goal and two assists. The Lightning built a 3-0 lead and led 3-1 going into the third period before the Lightning added two more goals in the third period to take control of the game.
The Lightning return to action when they host the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 PM on Thursday at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa.
