People Are Getting "Bladder Botox" to Avoid Bathroom Breaks on Road Trips

I know bathroom breaks are annoying, but THIS annoying? A urologist in New York says he's been seeing more and more people asking for BLADDER BOTOX to help them hold it on long road trips.

 

 

Injecting Botox is an established treatment for people who have overactive bladders, or feel like they have to go all the time. Especially if you're a woman. But he's been seeing more requests this time of year, right as people are heading out of town.

 

 

There's also a procedure for men called "prostate artery embolization." It shrinks the prostate, so it doesn't push against the bladder so much. He says he had a 20% spike in patients asking for those this spring.
