Wild boars are being spotted in Port St. Lucie.
Residents of Tradition say they're seeing even more of them recently with some concerned about the safety of their pets and kids.
Officials with Port St. Lucie Animal Control blame the sightings on continued development in the area, saying whenever new homes are built in previously undeveloped areas, they're taking away what was a natural habitat.
Residents are urged not to approach the animals and if they feel threatened they should call Florida Fish and Wildlife.
