Miami, FL - Former NFL defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul says his $400,000 luxury watch was allegedly stolen off his wrist during a crowded night out at DAER Nightclub, located inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The 36-year-old Deerfield Beach native was attending a Formula 1 event over the weekend when he says the theft occurred.

In a series of Instagram stories, Pierre-Paul detailed that he had stepped out of the VIP section and was suddenly surrounded by several people on the dance floor.

He noted feeling uneasy and instinctively checked his pockets, his phone and wallet were still there.

But he didn’t realize his watch was gone until someone later asked him for the time.

That’s when Pierre-Paul noticed his rare Richard Mille RM011 Fly-Back Kite Edition watch, made from 18-karat rose gold and black titanium, was missing.

He said he spotted two men nearby, gave them a suspicious look, and watched them flee into the crowd.

He also mentioned that a woman in the same venue reported a similar theft involving a Richard Mille watch.

The Seminole Police Department confirmed that a report was filed and an investigation is underway.

Pierre-Paul criticized the club’s security and said police response was underwhelming.

He is offering a reward for the return of his stolen timepiece.

Pierre-Paul, a two-time Super Bowl champion, was most recently signed to the Miami Dolphins in 2023 but was waived within a month and has not played in the NFL since.
