The city of Miami commission is full once again with Ralph Rosado taking the oath this morning.
He officially becomes the Commissioner for District 4 and will serve out the term of the late Manolo Reyes.
Rosado says he intends to follow in his legacy and will fight to eliminate property taxes for senior citizens, lower the tax rate for all homesteaded residents and streamline city processes.
His first commission meeting is Thursday where votes are expected on issues including whether to change elections to even years instead of odds ones and whether the city should enter an agreement with ICE giving officers some federal immigrant enforcement functions.
