Former U-S Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Alexander Acosta, is appearing before a House committee subpoenaing the estate of Jeffrey Epstein for possible mismanagement of the federal government's investigation. Attorney David Weinstein doesn't expect any new information to come out. FBI Director Kash Patel testified before Congress Tuesday blaming Acosta for approving a 2008 deal allowing Epstein to avoid hefty federal charges by pleading guilty to Florida state charges of soliciting a prostitute.
