Bradenton, FL - Bradenton police are investigating a burglary at Select Coin Laundry on 21st Avenue West, where a suspect allegedly broke into the business early in the morning and stole cash from coin-operated machines.
The incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on September 21st, 2025, when officers say the individual smashed the front glass door of the laundromat to gain entry.
Once inside, the suspect allegedly targeted two coin-pusher arcade machines, forcibly opening them and taking cash and coins before fleeing the scene.
Surveillance footage captured the individual during the burglary, and authorities have released images to help identify the suspect.
Police say the person left the area heading west on 21st Avenue West.
Detective William Mulligan is leading the investigation and is asking anyone with information to come forward.
Residents can provide tips directly to Detective Mulligan or submit anonymous information through Crime Stoppers of Manatee County.
Police have emphasized that community assistance is critical in identifying suspects and preventing similar crimes.
Investigators are reviewing additional surveillance footage and other evidence to determine if this burglary is connected to other recent incidents in the area.
The Bradenton Police Department stated that they remain committed to thoroughly investigating the case and ensuring the safety of local businesses and residents.
The laundromat, a community-serving business, sustained property damage during the break-in, but no injuries were reported.
