Who knew lemons could do so much around the house? Next time I'm at the grocery store, I'm gonna stock up and try some of these. -Kevin
1. HAND SANITIZER.
Simply take a fresh lemon, cut a slice and use it to rub on your hands to remove germs. Leaves your skin smelling great too.
2. CLEAN DISHES.
Lemons can also help clean dishes. Simply rub the lemons on the dirty dish to remove any grease and grime...and then rinse.
3. SANITIZE A CUTTING BOARD.
Another great use is to sanitize a dirty cutting board. Slice the lemon, rub all over the board then rinse.
4. CURE A SORE THROAT OR BAD BREATH.
Lemons can treally help heal a sore throat. And it leaves your breath smelling fresh too.
5. WHITEN CLOTHES.
Squeeze some lemon juice directly on stains then add it to the washing machine. This will help brighten dirty clothes.
6. ADD HIGHLIGHTS TO HAIR.
Remember Sun-in? That stuff you sprayed onto your hair to lighten it when out in the sun? Lemon juice does the exact same thing. Just spray it on your hair, brush through evenly then head out into the sunshine.
7. SOOTHE A SUNBURN.
Mix some lemon juice with water and then apply to the sunburned area. Will help soothe the skin.
8. KEEP GUACAMOLE FRESH.
Don't you hate when your Guac turns brown before you have a chance to finish it? Just sprinkle some lemon juice over freshly-made guacamole and keep it from turning brown.
