The U.S.Geological Survey reported that a 2.3 magnitude earthquake occurred Tuesday night near Flomaton, Alabama, which is near the state line with Florida. This is actually the third one in a week in that area. The first was registered last week near Century, Florida and the second this past Monday at a 3.6.
Luckily no damage. In fact, these quakes were so small that people may not have even noticed them.
But still...we have enough to deal with in this state: sinkholes, alligators, giant mosquitos, tourists (KIDDING!)...we don't need to add EARTHQUAKES to the list!
