Florida Woman Arrested After Hundreds Of Bugs Crawl Out Of Child's Backpack

Jessica Nicole Stevenson of Milton was arrested last week and charged with five felony counts of child neglect without great bodily harm, after a second-grader in her care repeatedly showed up to school in dirty clothes and a backpack filled with hundreds of bugs.

The girl is one of five siblings who lived in the home infested with roaches, soiled mattresses, cat poo on the floor, no edible food, broken windows, and bags of trash scattered throughout the home. .

The second-grader told police she didn't know when her last bath or shower had been. So sad.
