An Orlando health care worker was on her way to work and noticed a man on the ledge of an overpass. She looked in her rear view mirror and decided to stop, get out of the car and walk to him.
She sat with him, started talking and feared he would eventually jump. He said that bad decisions and family problems lead him to this point. She then decided to quote lyrics from Linkin Park's song "One More Light". "Who cares if one more light goes out? Well, I do." she told him.
"I didn't know if it clicked with him, but he just cried," she said.
Shortly after, a Orange County Sheriff's Deputy arrived in response to multiple 911 calls from people who saw the man on the ledge. The man was then pulled to safety.
The Health Care worker normally doesn't go that way for work...but thank God she was there that day. We hope and pray the man on the overpass gets the help he needs.
