Ciara returns with an empowering new anthem and shares some steamy visuals to go with it.
On Friday, April 4, the seasoned artist comes through with her sultry new single "Ecstasy" via Beauty Marks Entertainment. Produced by Leather Jacket and Tommy "TBHITS" Brown, Cici delivers another timeless R&B classic that her fans have come to expect from the "Da Girls" singer. Her soulful tone and inspirational lyrics — written by Ciara, Courtlin Jabrae, and Grammy award-winner Theron Thomas — will make fans want to embrace their true identity and crave authentic affection from the person of their dreams.
"On every album having the ultimate slow R&B record is always a must for me!" Ciara says about the record. "We call it baby making music where I’m from! I can’t wait for the world to see the video and experience Ecstasy with me! The CI CI Way!”
Ciara has been teasing the record for the past few weeks. Earlier this month, she appeared on a live stream with Tyga and told fans that "Ecstasy" is like "the big sister" to her smash hits "Promise" and "Ride." Later, the mother of four posted the first seductive photo for the song, and she instantly became a trending topic on social media.
"Ecstasy" is Ciara's first official single of 2025. She spent the past year dropping other smash hits like "Run It Up" with BossMan Dlow and "Wassup" featuring Busta Rhymes. She also served up new fan favorites like "How We Roll" with Chris Brown and "Better Thangs" with Summer Walker.
