My Countdown Of The 5 Best Brevard Beaches

Spend any time in Brevard County and you know right away which beach is your favorite. Do you like a more private beach? One that has some cute restaurant close by? Or perhaps one where you can make new friends and have a few drinks? There's even one beach for the daring that maybe wanna show a little more skin...

Whatever your favorite type of beach is, we all know our 72 miles of Atlantic coastline has a beach just for you...so without keeping you from seeing beautiful sand and water, here's my pick for

Top 5 Best Brevard County Beaches:

#5 Sebastian Inlet

For many reasons this has to be on anyone's list, but most of all the crystal clear water from where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Banana River has to be the reason you visit the Inlet. There's also some of the counties best surf happening here.

#4 Cocoa Beach

You know, the "World Famous" Cocoa Beach has to be on the countdown right? From its history with the Space Program, to Kelly Slater...Taco City and the Pier, Cocoa Beach is our tourist destination! It's all ours and people spend thousands of dollars just to sit on it for a weekend, we can local tourist up there whenever we want.

I'm just as guilty as you though, we don't local tourist a lot because...well tourist driving sucks! But take some time to get up, or over, and see the SERIOUSLY white Canadians that come and visit Brevard and our beaches (you know who they are!)

#3 Satellite Beach

It's my high school beach...as a graduate of Satellite Beach, the SB has a special place in my heart...and let's not all forget, you can get Pappagallo's and Da Kine after a beach day! Just mind the rocks

#2 Indialantic

Just a causeway from my house, and the closest Cold Stone to my heart...5th Avenue and the boardwalk at the end of 192 is a historic spot to Brevard County.

You have to pay to park here, but $1.50 isn't a bad price to spend a day at the beach (if those pipes for beach restoration could just go away too)

#1 Melbourne Beach

I have a total bias here, I've spent the majority of my life in Melbourne Beach...visiting as a kid, lived shortly there out of high school and it now my "Go To" beach on the weekends. From family days, to friend visits, this beach is my happy place. I've seen sunrises, sunburns and everything in between...there's a never-ending open invitation for you to join me at Coconut Point Park to pull up a chair and grab some champagne at my FAVORITE Brevard County Beach
