In his best attempt to show his 'millennial' side, Texas Senator Ted Cruz went on Facebook Live to talk about the issues he believes Texans care about.
This is all ahead of a presidential visit to Texas and a push to help Cruz win against his Democratic opponent Beto O'Rourke (who has like the most baller name for a Texan).
So yeah, Ted attempted technology, or an aide of his did...and in the middle (literally) of the video the camera flips sideways and ol Texas Ted is now perpendicular to the ground:
There are a million sound bites here that show just how out of the tech loop Cruz is,
"We may not win IT Department of the year"
"If all of you are shifting at your computers" also, the guy to the right of the picture, we get a vague look at this guy when he says "I am not willing to adjust". I know he thinks he's joking but come on.
So look, I don't talk publicly about politics anymore because everyone gets made about something you say, so I'll just say this:
Ted Cruz, any person over the age of 38 running for public office, if you're going to use Facebook Live, make sure the person operating said Live stream is younger than 35. Chances are they've done it before and know what it means to "get those angles".
Here's the whole Live feed for you to painfully try to get through. I made it barely through the hilarious attempt at social media, I scrubbed through the points to get me there.
