DeSantis Announces Free Admission to Florida Parks for Memorial Day Weekend

(Naples, FL) - Governor Ron DeSantis in Naples today to announce free admission to Florida State Parks during the Memorial Day weekend.

DeSantis says Florida has the best beaches, fishing and state parks in the country.

"In fact, our Florida state parks had 29-million visitors in 2023 generating an annual economic impact of $3.6 billion."

Florida has 175 state parks and has won the Gold Medal honoring the nation's best state park system a record four times.

Memorial Day is Monday, May 27th and the free state park admission runs for four days from the 25th through the 28th.
